MISSIONS
Chapter 1: VISION
1It’s rare for blessings to come into our lives unless we FIRST decide definitely that we want them in our lives, except by fluke. 2So, go right ahead, now, and DECIDE EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT for yourself and your life! 3How can you live your dreams if you don’t even know what they are? 4So invest time MEDITATING on what you WANT, and then draw some conclusions by deliberately DETERMINING what your dreams REALLY ARE! 5The eagerness with which you go about this TASK will indicate to yourself and the world just how BADLY you want to find true soul satisfaction in this life, and best prepare for the next.
6Decide the following things, which make up your Chosen Life: 7Who do you want to BECOME? What kind of PERSONALITY and CHARACTER do you want to develop? 8What SKILLS do you want to learn? And what ADVANTAGES will those skills privilege you to? 9What kind of POSSESSIONS do you want to own? What kind of home, car, wardrobe, phone, etc.? 10Which PEOPLE, and what kind of RELATIONSHIPS do you want with them to make up your daily life? Who do you want introductions with? 11Which LOCATIONS do you want to visit? And what EVENTS do you want to attend? 12What kind of OPPORTUNITIES do you want? And for what reason? 13What kind of HEALTH and FITNESS do you want, and perhaps require in this life? 14What kind of RECOGNITION for what ACHIEVEMENTS do you want to receive? And in which arena? 15What IMPACT do you want to have on others? And what LEGACY do you want to leave behind?
16Get clear on all these things! 17Use your imagination and start thinking about these questions throughout your days, and mulling them over, so you can make some DECISIONS that may very well alter the entire course and direction of your future life for the better, happier living. 18Forget the limits, or how you will achieve all this. 19Put no limitations on your desires or consider them impossible. 20Let your imagination run wild, then START WRITING THEM DOWN, one by one, and even DESCRIBING them in great detail.
21Do this for YOU! Decide what YOU want for YOU! 22AND WRITE IT DOWN! DON’T FORGET THAT – WRITE THE THINGS YOU WANT DOWN ON A LIST! 23However, be discouraged from desiring or craving things just because of the perception it will give you in others eyes. 24That’s a fallacious life, to attempt to build our Self-Worth solely on how society views us, by perhaps seeking after others’ jealousy and envy which does no one any service at all.
Chapter 2: COST
1In a civilized society, it takes money to live our Chosen Life. 2We need to serve and be served, and money is often the MEDIUM for how we mediate that exchange of VALUE. 3So your next step, after you’ve determined precisely and definitely what you want, is to attach A TOTAL SUM or a recurring MONTHLY AMOUNT to your desired lifestyle, a DEFINITE NUMBER.
4So go right ahead and calculate HOW MUCH you would need to make your dreams a reality in this economic world. 5Go through your LIST of desires from the last chapter, and start RESEARCHING the prices and costs of those goods and services that would make your Chosen Life a reality. 6Add up every ITEM that COSTS MONEY on your list, so that you’ll KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH you’ll need to live your dreams. 7Determine and attach either a total sum OR a recurring monthly amount that would financially support your Chosen life.
8Now keep THIS SUM ever and always in the FOREFRONT of your mind. 9Write it down and put it where you’ll SEE IT OFTEN. 9That AMOUNT is now your MISSION in life for the time being! 10Now you know what YOU demand of this world to live your Chosen Life. 11But the world ALSO demands something of you now too.
Chapter 3: VALUE
1There is no such thing as something for nothing, and those who try to get without giving end up with consequences on their hands. 2No, you must render an EQUIVALENT SERVICE in return for the SUM you are seeking to manifest your Chosen Life! 3You must DELIVER BENEFITS to your fellow man that are COMMENSURATE with the amount your Chosen Life demands!
4You do this by discovering what your GIFTS are, the things you excel at and maybe others even admire you for. 5You love to engage in these ACTIVITIES, don’t you? 6So why not INVEST your time in DEVELOPING those gifts, then TRANSLATING them into PRODUCTS and SERVICES that benefit others? 7That’s the REAL WAY, in Nature, to “make money” or “get rich”.
8It can take time to discover your gifts, especially in youth, so give yourself time. 9But start identifying what you’re GOOD AT, and what you LOVE MOST. 10Then start asking yourself how you can do THAT THING in a way that ENRICHES others lives, so you may then RIGHTFULLY ask money in return for it.
11Next, comes preparation, which involves both study and practice. 12Your gift, your CRAFT, must be MASTERED – by studying what the experts have to teach, observation of those who have received praise and earned merit in the field, and through relentless applied practice and a honing of the skill – so that you can render services at their highest level and thus entitle you to compensation RELATIVE to it. 13You must bring your SKILL LEVEL in delivering your services level with the SUM you desire. 14Then you are rightfully ready and entitled to live your Chosen Life, because you’ve EARNED it!
15Once you have established your craft, it is not merely enough to dream about it. Then do nothing. That will not do! 16Procrastination MUST be conquered, and action MUST be taken!
Chapter 4: ACTION
1Dreams don’t take manifestation in reality without taking INITIATIVE and ACTION. 2If the work doesn’t get done, why should there be an outcome or reward? 3No, since we are compensated FOR our services, we must RENDER THEM! 4Only then does this ENTITLE us to compensation, relative to the BENEFITS they incurred on others as a result of our actions.
5As we mentioned, there are two steps to delivering service: PREPARATION and DELIVERY. 6We must be motivated to study and practice, and remain sustained in that activity, until we are skilled enough to be of great USE to Society. 7And we have also already said this is easy to do when we are: good at what we do, and we love engaging in it. 8Procrastination is easily conquered when this pair exists. 9So you must find the thing! Then commit to it!
10But to help sustain you through the tough spots, be encouraged to write down all the REASONS WHY you want to live your dreams. 11Then they can be called to mind as reminders of what you’re really seeking to accomplish. 12What we want is LIVED EXPERIENCES we have anticipated, don’t we? 13Ones that lead to making memories, and growing, and finding SOUL SATISFACTION. 14So write those emotional cravings down, thinking about how INCREDIBLE it will be when those conditions are finally brought into your life. 15Bringing this to mind is what SUSTAINS us through the trials and tribulations that are sure to come our way.
16Really what you must do is cultivate a BURNING DESIRE TO LIVE YOUR CHOSEN LIFE! 17How do you do that? You must first know exactly what it is, then IMAGINE, REHEARSE and ENACT it out in your imagination OFTEN. 18You VISUALIZE in your imagination and then EXPERIENCE various scenes of what it will be like. 19You constantly think about how AMAZING it’s going to be. 20You imagine what it’s going to FEEL LIKE when you realize your mission!
21Then the business becomes about bringing a PRODUCT or SERVICE to MARKET using your SKILLS to create and deliver it. 22And to do that, ACTION must be taken, the right, effective action. 23That action is simply to CREATE and RELEASE the best item you can currently produce. 24This sometimes requires RESEARCH and EXPERIMENTATION. 25Then watch how the market RESPONDS to it, so you’ll know how to ADVANCE, PIVOT or ABANDON in learning to perfect the goods or services, molding them around the consumer’s desires and needs, indicated by their responses and behavior. That comes next.
26But first, what we need to do is TRY THINGS! 27We need possible IDEAS to test that would possibly make profitable products or services. 28All goods and services start IN THE FORM OF AN IDEA! Remember that! 29How do we come up with these? We look for a PROBLEM we ourselves have (as sometimes us solving our own problem attracts interested people who have the same one) or problems others have that have been observed or researched, then we find the SOLUTION to them, and finally offer that to the public as a trade. 30Or the other way is to provide a vehicle to the client that empowers them to live a desired, satisfying experience. 31These can often coincide. 32This is what we bring to market and offer to the public.
Chapter 5: ADAPTATION
1We finally achieve our aims and arrive at our Chosen Life through and by the LIVED PROCESS of TRYING, FAILING, then LEARNING from those failures for the NEXT ATTEMPTS, that then, eventually, lead us to the coveted goal of SUCCESS! Hallelujah!
2You must understand that there is a BRIDGE to realizing any desired result, or transforming a negative circumstance into a positive one. 3That’s to LEARN A SKILL. 4It is the USE of that skill that makes you a USEFUL ASSET to others and is therefore VALUABLE to you. 5So determine what RESULTS you want – so you can identify the SKILL you need to learn first – and then go out and LEARN IT! 6As you move forward with the work, start pinpointing the OUTCOME SKILLS you’ll need, and work getting TRAINED on them into your plan. 7These skills can be used for personal benefit or to produce money or taught in exchange for money, which makes them invaluable.
8In this Cycle of trying and failing, after we have promoted a product or service to the public and they have responded to it, we look at the REACTION to both: the OFFER and the PRODUCT. 9We listen to the consumer FEEDBACK and we observe their BEHAVIOR with our goods or services. 10This is what empowers us to know what to change or improve. 11This also empowers us to adapt to how our clients are RESPONDING to our offer and our products or services. 12This is priceless information, for innovation, marketing and sales!
13Here’s how it works: Solving problems and promoting the solutions are much alike. 14They’re both processes of TRIAL and ERROR, unless we have wise counsel, which already makes us ourselves wise. 15The same process that goes into solving the problem is often the same one used in marketing it. 16We have to understand the story, the narrative behind the service and its origin. 17This not only helps us speak to the customer and convince them, but they feel understood by us (because we do understand them!), which is what moves sales.
18This CYCLE must be followed UNTIL it launches an enterprise or SYSTEM that successfully and predictably generates enough revenue to support your Chosen Life, where you can replace yourself with others working inside it instead. 19But you must not give up. 20You must keep going, even in the most trying of times, until success is, finally, achieved.
Chapter 6: PERSEVERANCE
1In pursuing our dreams, and even just in living life, it is inevitable that we will face sometimes seemingly unbearable disappointments and discouragements and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. 2But what is important is how we DEAL with them. 3We must be able to ENDURE life’s adversities and reverses with grace, then PICK OURSELVES BACK UP and CARRY ON with the work of manifesting our Chosen Life, marching on, finally, TO SUCCESS. 4We must NOT let our trials and tribulations stop us and make us quit. 5WE MUST CARRY ON! 6But what makes us want to quit? What makes us want to give up? 8And how do we deal with these pests?
8First, there is CRITICISM! 9If you step out from the ranks and demand life pay off on your terms, the envious will try to discourage and stop you by RIDICULING and HUMILIATING you. 10People will say all manners of unkind things about you, and they will say many untrue things about you. 11You must develop a thick skin to these assaults. 12And how you do that is you STOP VALUING the opinions of people who are ignorant. 13You just stop caring, and even taking an interest, where it doesn’t interfere with soliciting the COOPERATION of others.
14Second, there is FAILURE! 15We already talked on this. 16But you ARE going to encounter failure as you learn to bring your dreams into reality. 17Sometimes the best way of dealing with it is to, depending on the severity of the blow, take some time to sulk and do and think nothing. 18The deflated feelings that come with an approach or venture failing and not working out will soon pass and be REPLACED with new inspiration, and new hopes and ideas. 19If one plan fails, build another. If it, too, fails, build yet another, and another – until, at long last, success!
20Third, there is REJECTION! 21In doing this work, you ARE going to have people say “No” to you, and you ARE going to have people want NOTHING to do with you. 22You must just learn to ACCEPT THIS. 23How? Place your priorities on the people who DO VALUE YOU! Not on the ones who don’t esteem you. 24Respect them, yes. But don’t make your happiness dependent on their love or approval. 25Instead, wait for those who will truly love, value and respect you to come into your life if they’re not yet present. 26They will come.
27Fourth, there is BETRAYAL! In life, you’re bound to have loved ones betray your trust and leave you blindsided. 28This is probably the MOST PAINFUL thing to experience. 29And there is no cure for it, other than to let time HEAL THE WOUNDS and process it to RELEASE the bitterness. 30But what can be learned from it is how to SCREEN people: what red-flags to look for in the future, and how to respond to them next time around. 31This equips us to protect our ongoing, ever unfolding peace and joy.
32Fifth, there is LOSS! 33The previous one may be most painful, but this one is most DIFFICULT to suffer and endure. 34Losing something or someone we cherish or invested in, knowing it’s probably not or never coming back to us HURTS. 35And the pain lingers and torments. 36The only tonic for sorrow is tears. 37Mourning is the only constructive remedy to loss. 38Rage and revenge only bring more destruction, damage and chaos.
Chapter 7: USE
1The chapters leading up to here have been sequential. 2But the next two chapters are realities that are transpiring ALL the time, when we are alone and when we are with people. 3They AREN’T principles in this formula, but ongoing CONDITIONS that are present throughout the strategy and should therefore be given great consideration.
4We shape the unfoldment by our REACTIONS to our own thoughts and the actions of others. 5We think, and we act. 6Another reacts to that. 7Then we think and react to to their reaction. 8So on, and vice versa. 9But what happens when we react unconsciously, uncontrollably and abruptly in that string of reactions, which is all there is to an INTERACTION? 10We lose POWER and INFLUENCE over them, giving away our control to the other parties involved. 11But if we remain in control of OURSELVES and our RESPONSES, our power in confrontation and conflict, and also in moments of peace and harmony, becomes endless! 12Others begin to surrender to OUR lead instead and abide by our social cues.
13How this is achieved is by balancing the head on top of the spine throughout every act carried out in the unfoldment. 14This results in the voice being RESONANT and PROJECTED. 15And it results in the body movements and stances, along with eye focus, being deliberately and CONSCIOUSLY CONTROLLED moment to moment. 16That is how power is COMMUNICATED from one mind to another in the physical, and power is ESSENTIAL to realize your dreams, especially if they’re on the larger or less modest scale.
17The WAY HOW you do all this is you learn and apply FM Alexander’s Technique. 18It is claimed to be the BEST DECISION a person can make, BECAUSE it innately affects ALL their OTHER decisions.
19TAKE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE LESSONS!
Chapter 8: PEOPLE
1Everyone must be SCREENED for who you can trust! 2Your role as a good human being is to treat everyone you meet with dignity and respect. 3You give them your attention and your willingness to do them favors. 4BUT they MUST reciprocate. 5Your attention and your pull are PRIVILEGES, they are your CURRENCY. 6If someone is going to try to use you or treat you with disrespect, you WITHDRAW those privileges from them! 7Now they must make it up TO YOU IF they want those privileges back, and if you concede.
8It’s all about GOODWILL. 9You extend that to others and expect it back. 10But when you don’t get it, you learn NOT to wish ill will, and you give warnings first, but then if they’re not considered, you put DISTANCE between you and them. 11You set boundaries, and you enforce them. 12And in cases of gross abuse and disrespect, you CUT such people out of your life completely and DENY them ACCESS to you and your life.
13But how do we get into these situations in the first place? 14Often, it’s through family and circumstance. But many other times, it’s through our own INITIATIVE. 15If we want an introduction to someone, most times the best way is to give it to ourselves. 16But how do we do that? We learn how to engage ANYONE in conversation, under ANY circumstance. 17This is done by leading our conversations so they accomplish THIS one thing: share who you are and what your life is all about with them (and be interesting, because you are), and encourage them to share who they are and what their life is all about with you. 18That’s it. THAT IS THE SECRET TO PEOPLE.
19Also, navigating allies and enemies, admirers and haters: some people WILL ROOT for you to realize your dreams, while others will WAIT on your DOWNFALL. 20This doesn’t need to be taken personally. 21Jealousy and envy are wretched emotions, and the people who let themselves become slaves to them live wretched lives. 22So pay them no mind. Instead, pay your allies and admirers your attention and time. 23Serve them and their interests.
Chapter 9: PATIENCE
1After exercising your divine prerogative to think and act and relate in pursuing your mission, and you have already taken complete responsibility for your circumstances, yet if STILL the Chosen Life isn’t manifesting, don’t be alarmed! 2Perhaps you are being INITIATED by a Divine Plan through all your experiences – the apparent victories and defeats – which are PREPARING you for something GREAT.
3We want our blessings in life, and we want them now. 4And if we don’t get them, it can annoy, frustrate and anger us. 5We can wonder where The God is in all this. 6We can wonder when the suffering will finally end, and the bliss begin. 7We can wonder where the hidden justice is, after all the trials and wrongs we’ve endured. 8But qualities and characteristics ARE being built in these delays, and, if you’re doing your part, things ARE moving backstage, as all these things are happening. 9So your role is to TRUST. 10Three things are being developed and unfolded in the deprivations and delays.
11CHARACTER is forged in the fires of adversity. 12And what is adversity but being denied our blessings, at least for the time being? 13Adversity is what we go through WHILE we’re being deprived of yet pursuing our Chosen Life. 14And adversity is what teaches us strength of character. 15This should serve as a reminder and a call to patience, because we are being fashioned in the waiting to live our Chosen Life and enter into manifesting our Destiny.
16PERSONALITY is unfolded and refined through the process of meeting and relating to a wide variety of people, learning from those experiences and integrating them into the face we show the world, our PUBLIC PERSONA. 17Patience should be remembered here because others often hold the mirror to us, and we get to further see who we truly are by interacting with them, which can be a slow, even ugly process, to get to know ourselves objectively, to see ourselves as the world sees us.
18And REPUTATION is the perception others have of us, established in their minds over a time of being exposed to us, arrived at from the appearance of revelations of our characters and personalities. 19Patience becomes a necessity here because it takes time for a good reputation to spread, and for it to be established and celebrated as such in the first place.
19These three links in the chain of success ONLY COME with time. 20They cannot be rushed, nor should they be. Patience is KEY here as these events are lived out in the unfoldment.
Chapter 10: PRAYER
1Prayer is often a DEBATE with The God over why we can’t have our blessings right this instant, and a PLEA to know the REASONS why the things that happened to us happened to us. 2We want results and outcomes, and we want explanations and answers. 3Ultimately, in this, we want RELIEF from our suffering. 4We want to make sense of everything. 5So we go to The God, asking Him these things: 6Why can’t we have what we want right now, and what’s the point in waiting longer? 7Why can’t The God just tell us the reason why things happened to us the way they did, then we’d finally have answers, relief and peace? 8How much longer is the wait until our blessings come in at last anyway? 9These questions haunt and plague us, don’t they? 10So where’s the consolation in them?
11The purpose of us asking The God these questions is to WRESTLE with Him, resulting finally in us SURRENDERING control over to Him, and RELYING and TRUSTING in Him completely.
12When we ask the aforementioned questions, our Chosen Life is priority to us over His will and His plan for us and our lives. 13The hard TRUTH is we are resistant to the latter things – when we ask Him these questions. 14And being in that FRAME OF MIND is exactly what is being sought to be nursed and cured in us in all this busyness. 15So try to find a way to STOP RESISTING the way things are turning out for you, even if they’re vastly different than the expectations you once had for yourself and your life. 16Instead, let the experiences, and the delays and tears, break you down to the point of SURRENDER. Maybe there is a great PURPOSE in all of it.
17TRUST in The God is the ultimate goal. 18The God wants you to TRUST HIM. 19And that trust often only truly comes when we have desired to massive lengths and fought fiercely for our Chosen Life, and still, He has withheld it from us. 20Then comes the realization that we are being tested by a choice: 21Would we rather have our Chosen Life – or would we rather have The God?
22But I say: When surrender comes, trust FOLLOWS. 23And when that trust is IN PLACE, the Chosen Life is very near!
Chapter 11: GRATITUDE
1There is a great fallacy, and it is this: that once we get relief from our struggles and obtain a specific objective, THEN we will be grateful and happy. 2Is this true though? If a person isn’t grateful with a hundred dollars, do you really think they’re going to be grateful with a million? 3Once they attain it, they’re going to realize it didn’t satisfy, then turn their sights to attaining something else, something MORE, hoping that will fulfill. 4No, gratitude – an appreciation for the blessings we ALREADY HAVE – needs to come FIRST. 5It needs to start NOW. 6Then you will be TRULY GRATEFUL when you realize your Chosen Life.
7Start expressing gratitude for the blessings you already have as you go about your days. 8This is EASY to do. But in the beginning it can be difficult to remember. 9However, once in the habit, it becomes a lifestyle, or an inner and ongoing process of thinking. 10When you catch yourself enjoying a moment or something you’re experiencing, TRAIN yourself to express appreciation and gratitude for it! 11Just a thought: “I like this! I’m grateful for this! Thank-you, YHWH!” 12That’s it. Then carry on with whatever it was you were doing.
13Next, something worth investing in sometimes is this: Take an hour, sit down and WRITE DOWN everything you have in your life that you’re GRATEFUL for. 14You might be surprised at what you discover in carrying out this exercise. 15But then REFLECT on that list. 16And express THANKFULNESS for it.
17And finally, if you don’t already, start showing clerks, servers and attendants gratitude, and THANKING them for their services. 18Remember, without them, you leaving the stores with the merchandise would be impermissible.
Chapter 12: DESTINY
1When you persistently apply the philosophy presented here, eventually you will manifest your dreams and live your Chosen Life. 2You will reach soul satisfaction, with all your wants and needs met. 3You have answered fate’s call, and now it expects something of you: to pivot your focus from achieving your own interests (because you already have), and turn it to serving others interests. 4The Altruism that comes out of this IS YOUR DESTINY! 5There are three manners of aiding Humanity.
6First, the path you will have walked in translating your dreams into reality will make you an EXPERT on something. 7You won’t just have scholarly knowledge you learned at an institution, but actual practical wisdom. 8This becomes your GIFT to the world. 9You can now SHARE the knowledge, wisdom and understanding with others, by writing, lecturing or teaching what you know. 10You devote your time, effort and enery to EDIFYING and INSPIRING others.
11Second, you will likely have excess CAPITAL at your disposal. 12This can be used for CHARITY, to bless those who have been less fortunate than you. 13This can be done through direct contribution or building systems that offer free services to those in need.
14And third, you will likely have influence, which you can use to give those who have proven themselves worthy OPPORTUNITIES for advancement. 15You will have connections, and you can use those connections to put the right people in partnership together in a way that will benefit both parties. 16The work here is to UPLIFT and PROSPER others.
17That is how life works: you decide, pursue and realize your Chosen Life, then you change direction from the self and devote your efforts to edifying and uplifting others.
18But the whole SECRET of this work is to take responsibility and act on what is completely within your power, surrender to The God what is not under your power, and pray to know the difference.
